What should we wear?

Our suggestion is classic clothes that have a timeless appeal. Try to avoid bright colours, strong patterns, and logos. Selecting 3-4 colours as the basis of your shoot works well to ensure you are all nicely coordinated. 

What happens if it’s raining on the day of our session?

If your photoshoot is scheduled for an outside location, a light sprinkle won’t stop the fun – big trees provide surprisingly good shelter. However, if heavy rain is forecast, we can either reschedule or go to the Gallery of Modern Art at Southbank, with lots of undercover options for a beautiful session.

What should I bring?

Some favourite kids’ toys and a book are always handy to have on standby, as well as snacks to keep the little ones engaged. If you have anything meaningful, like a special teddy or blanket (especially for newborn sessions), feel free to include this as well and we can incorporate it into the photos. And yes, your favourite furry friends are also welcome. 

How long does the session go for?

Depending on how many people are in your family, shoots go for 1-2 hours. We will do lots of combinations for you – the whole family, parents with each child, the kids together and individually.

We know the thought of being the centre of attention can bring about unwanted nerves, but we want you to know we’re focused on making sure you’re comfortable, supported and gently guided through our time together.
